For centuries, Tashi Lhunpo Monastery has been traditionnally transmitting the tantric techniques and knowledge necessary for the performance of the sacred dances (Cham), as well as the mantras recitation, and music playing that accompany them. Since Tibet's invasion by China, the monastery was reimplanted in southern India, in order to be able to continue passing on that tradition.

Today, the monks from this monastery are touring the world to give the western public th eopportunity to discover their culture. These tours have brought them to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Italy.

For the first time, they will be in Switzerland from September 2nd to 7th, 2004, in Lausanne, Bulle and Geneva.
